Reminds me of a few weeks back, I met quite a number of my lost contact poly friends, their 1st impression of me was "I changed alot". Some almost recognise me, some just wondering why I change.

S'pore 42th Celebration

Happy Birthday Singapore~

This year not luck to get the ticket, which mean no celebration at Nation Stadium- Sorry... Can't share the joyful & beautiful day with you.

* * *

Thursday I was at Tiglet's hse watching Gong S (In case you dunno, its a korean drama). The funny thing was that I & Tiglet were like rotating shift, I watched until 2-3am then slp and Tiglet continue until 7-8am, then I continued on from 12-4pm. Other timing, of cos we watched together.

I thought that I would had some spare cash for month from this budget wkend program, but I wrong. I still had to cut down on shopping, restaurants, activities.. Actually I did saved up some cash but not really a lump sum.

Last Saturaday we went to Jurong Point to had our dinner. Long long time never been to there. Thinking back, I usually been there *including Woodland* one or twice within a year, now I everyday stepped into woodland as my home NO is company located there. Back to the topic, there were lots of bangadash *spelling mistake?*, cant stand the smell and over-crowded place. I wished to leave that scary DARK place ASAP but dun wan to waste the time & money no choice had to bear with it and stay on.

We ate 1 foot of Subway Melt @ Subway. It was delicious and health - YUMMY~

不能说的秘密

Which one is nicer?

Saturaday I just watched it.
It was Jay Chous directorial debut that deal with the memory of 1st love.
An unexcepted good movie for those people who love romance movie like me.
I like some of the piano songs inside, in fact I love piano.
When I'm young, I wished that I could learn it but it was too costly. I always envy people who play piano well.
I enjoy listening to the rythms and tunes that comes from it.

Instead watching this movie with Tiglet, I watched with Kshinbo and his 8 poly friends who I never seen before. We met each other afew hours earlier for lunch and shopped around. Haha... Felt slightly awkward when meeting his friends.

Btw, Kshinbo is my poly guy friend. Hmm... Talk about him more ba. Actually I knew his sister 1st. Previously, I worked as a part-timer at Kumon after my 'O' lvl *Hmm... actually is before o lvl lah* , his sister worked there too! Kushinbo joined in to replace his sister. *need to go back to her uni*

I remebered once he said something hurting words... As usual, we were walked home togerther after worked. *we both stayed at AMK tt time* He was very quiet while on the way and I *very talkative one* cant tahan the silent between us so I asked : "Why u so quiet?"

Guess what was his ans?

I was like "wah... u so dao arh!! okie loh then dun talk loh" Hee... actually that time we just knew each other not long ago. Hmm.. Dunno how end up we become close friends.

Life is full of unexceptation, you won't know this person will become your friends, enemy or just a passager.

Arr. . . chu!! *sneezing again*

Fw: Food for thought

Have you ever heard of a wrong love
A love so deep, but there is nothing you can do about it
You try your hardest to do something, to make it work
But the only way it can, is if you don't try at all
I've been dealing with it from some time now
And every time it comes into view, I wonder what it would be like
What if my love came true
And it wasnt a burden
Just a setback that I could pull through
I want to get what I want
But how can you do that
When what you want is wrong
So undeniable, yet you can't have it
Imagine putting yourself out there
For all the world to see
Willingly ready to climb the tallest mountain
Walk to the farthest distance
Yet no matter how far you go, your ending point is a complete failure

Thanks and Best Regards,

He sent this forwarded mail on yesterday morning. Those who know my story would treat it as a hinting mail. But he denied, said that it was just a food for thought. Do you understand the meaning of "food for thought"?

Maybe my vocabulary is limited. For your information food for thought mean anything that provides mental stimulus for thinking.

O ya? I really think too much? So my imagination told me that every nites I had received a "sweet dream" msg from him, he replied every of my forwarded mail is just a normal reaction. All this is just what my imagination playing trick?

I'm getting piss off of his action, his mail, his sms.

A simple praise

Yesterday I'm craving for bubble tea so I went to buy it when I was on my way home. A little K1 ger was standing there playing alone. She walked toward me and said :" Jie Jie, U are very pretty."

Oh... That was the nicest words that I heard of the day. I was delighted. *my sleepy face flew off and the sweet smile return back* I replied with a smile and praised her too. I felt abit pai seh when I heard. We chatted while waiting for her parents to get their payment done at the SAM machine. Adults might lie but little ger wont tell lies, especially she and I are stranges, rite? Haha... I'm pretty~ I'm flying~

She makes brighten up me next day *today* of work =D

When death comes calling, so does Oscar the cat

*I took this article from Tammi*

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island (AP) -- Oscar the cat seems to have an uncanny knack for predicting when nursing home patients are going to die, by curling up next to them during their final hours.

His accuracy, observed in 25 cases, has led the staff to call family members once he has chosen someone. It usually means the patient has less than four hours to live.

"He doesn't make too many mistakes. He seems to understand when patients are about to die," Dr. David Dosa said in an interview. He describes the phenomenon in a poignant essay in Thursday's issue of the New England Journal of Medicine.

"Many family members take some solace from it. They appreciate the companionship that the cat provides for their dying loved one," said Dosa, a geriatrician and assistant professor of medicine at Brown University.

The 2-year-old feline was adopted as a kitten and grew up in a third-floor dementia unit at the Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The facility treats people with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease and other illnesses.

After about six months, the staff noticed Oscar would make his own rounds, just like the doctors and nurses. He'd sniff and observe patients, then sit beside people who would wind up dying in a few hours.

Dosa said Oscar seems to take his work seriously and is generally aloof. "This is not a cat that's friendly to people," he said.

Oscar is better at predicting death than the people who work there, said Dr. Joan Teno of Brown University, who treats patients at the nursing home and is an expert on care for the terminally ill.

She was convinced of Oscar's talent when he made his 13th correct call. While observing one patient, Teno said she noticed the woman wasn't eating, was breathing with difficulty and that her legs had a bluish tinge, signs that often mean death is near.

Oscar wouldn't stay inside the room, though, so Teno thought his streak was broken. Instead, it turned out the doctor's prediction was roughly 10 hours too early. Sure enough, during the patient's final two hours, nurses told Teno that Oscar joined the woman at her bedside.

Doctors say most of the people who get a visit from the sweet-faced, gray-and-white cat are so ill they probably don't know he's there, so patients aren't aware he's a harbinger of death. Most families are grateful for the advance warning, although one wanted Oscar out of the room while a family member died. When Oscar is put outside, he paces and meows his displeasure.

No one's certain if Oscar's behavior is scientifically significant or points to a cause. Teno wonders if the cat notices telltale scents or reads something into the behavior of the nurses who raised him.

Nicholas Dodman, who directs an animal behavioral clinic at the Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and has read Dosa's article, said the only way to know is to carefully document how Oscar divides his time between the living and dying.

If Oscar really is a furry grim reaper, it's also possible his behavior could be driven by self-centered pleasures like a heated blanket placed on a dying person, Dodman said.

Nursing home staffers aren't concerned with explaining Oscar, so long as he gives families a better chance at saying goodbye to the dying.

Oscar recently received a wall plaque publicly commending his "compassionate hospice care."
